🩺 Clinical Responsibilities & Panel Management
As the primary physician for a rural population of over 7,500 individuals, I provided comprehensive primary, preventive, emergency, and chronic disease care:
- Comprehensive Outpatient Triage & Care: Managed high-volume daily outpatient clinics, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, infectious diseases, pediatric conditions, and geriatric syndromes.

- Mental & Behavioral Health Integration: Provided primary psychiatric evaluation and pharmacological management for depression, anxiety, and stress disorders in underserved rural communities.
💻 Health Informatics & EHR Operations in Frontline Practice
- National EHR Operations: Utilized the Iranian national Electronic Health Record system (SIB) for coding diagnoses (ICD-10), managing e-prescriptions, ordering laboratory investigations, and coordinating specialist referrals.
- Real-World Health Data Insights: Navigated the operational challenges of EHR data entry, coding ambiguity, and clinical workflow friction in high-throughput settings. This frontline experience directly drives my current PhD research on trustworthy clinical AI, FHIR data segmentation, and evidence-grounded clinical decision support.
🚑 Emergency Response & Escalation Pathways
- Acute Medical Emergency Management: Served as first responder for acute trauma, cardiac arrests, acute coronary syndromes, severe asthma exacerbations, and pediatric emergencies in rural satellite posts.
